Herrick Park Intermediate Learning Center is CLOSED for Monday, August 28th. Classes are canceled for Herrick Park.
The building is without power this morning.
TPS families:
Shortly after our previous message, we discovered some issues with our phone and internet service.
TPS is NOW on a two-hour delay. We’ll keep you updated if that changes.
Thank you!
Good morning, TPS families,
We hope everyone had a safe night following last night’s storms.
All TPS buildings have power this morning. Classes will be in session today.

Today, we officially say goodbye to the old Tecumseh Public Schools administration building.
The District finalized the sale of the building and property with LRC Commercial. We can’t wait to see what the redevelopment of this property looks like and the impact it will have on the community.
The Ottawa Street property has served many different purposes for TPS. Built in 1918, the building was a high school, a junior high for seventh and eighth grades, and, eventually, the board/administration office.
While closed now for several years, we will cherish the building after decades of inspiring young minds and creating countless memories.
To every student, teacher, parent, guardian, and staff member who ever set foot in that building, thank you for being an integral part of our District’s story.

Happy Fourth of July!
Out of an abundance of caution, today’s youth football camp at Tecumseh High School has been postponed due to the weather.
Today’s date will be moved to tomorrow, Tuesday, June 27th. Wednesday and Thursday’s dates this week remain the same.
The times for these camp dates also remain the same, which is 11 am-Noon.
Before the end of the school year, students at Patterson Intermediate Learning Center held one final assembly.
This was the PBIS Year-End Celebration. PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. PBIS is an approach schools use to promote school safety and behavior.
Students and staff celebrated after putting in a great school year filled with hard work and determination. During this assembly, there was a dance party!
We’re excited for the students as some move to fourth grade, and others are headed to Tecumseh Middle School.
