The American Red Cross desperately needs blood donations, especially after the impact of Hurricane Ian.
Dangerous weather conditions and floodwaters canceled dozens of blood drives in the South. The organization missed out on nearly one-thousand blood and platelet donations. Fewer donors are likely to come out to donate at drives in and around affected areas.
That's why we're asking for your help.
Next week, the National Honor Society at Tecumseh High School will host a blood drive. High school students can donate blood, and so can you!
Appointments are available. Head to the Red Cross website and use the code TECUMSEHINDIANS to schedule an appointment.
Every little bit helps.
The blood drive will be held on Wednesday, October 12, in the gymnasium of Tecumseh High School.
