Tecumseh Public Schools will host the City of Tecumseh for a joint study session to discuss the bond proposals placed on the November ballot.
The meeting and presentation will be in the cafetorium of Tecumseh High School on Monday, October 10 at 6 pm.
The regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting will follow the joint study session. That meeting is set for 7 pm and will also be in the cafetorium of THS.
City officials will learn more about the bond project, which includes two proposals. The proposals are on the November 8 general election ballot, and the community can vote for both of them.
The $88 million bond program will allow the District to make much-needed improvements in school infrastructure and provide district-wide security upgrades.
“This is an opportunity for us to make critical upgrades throughout our facilities here at Tecumseh Public Schools,” said TPS Superintendent Rick Hilderley. “These upgrades will propel TPS into the future, ensuring the District is safe, efficient, and effective.”
Both the joint study session and BoE meetings are open to the public.
