On Friday, September 24th, there will be no school for all students at Tecumseh Public Schools. This day was originally scheduled to be a half-day for students.
Superintendent Rick Hilderley has announced staff will work Friday to update classrooms and buildings in effort to fight the spread of COVID-19.
Staff will implement new measures to better reduce the number of students that enter quarantine because of a nearby positive COVID-19 case.
“We hope these measures simplify our contact tracing, reduce the number of people that each person is coming into contact with and have fewer healthy people sent into quarantine,” said Superintendent Hilderley.
The superintendent would go on to say the district believes these measures will help with the loss of instruction and have less students and staff enter quarantine.
