To enroll a student in school, you MUST be the parent listed on student's birth certificate OR you MUST be the student's legal guardian with official court documentation.

If you have students who currently attend Tecumseh Public School District, simply login to your Parent Portal account to add a student.
Click on MORE on the left hand side and then look for Online Registration at the bottom of the list.
Students New to District:
Families that are new to Tecumseh Public School can use the link below to register.

Tecumseh Public Schools is proud to offer unique school options for students K-12 in and out of the Tecumseh district. With an inclusive culture that fosters personalized education and next-level education readiness, our K-12 schools are exceptional choices.
Tecumseh Public Schools supports (or recognizes) the school of choice program adopted by the Michigan Legislature, and plans to implement the school of choice option for the 2025-2026 school year.
School of Choice families must apply and be approved before beginning registration.

We will be reaching out to your previous district for Attendance and Discipline information. Once your application has been reviewed you will be notified regarding denial or acceptance to complete the enrollment process.
For families without internet access or access to an electronic device, we offer enrollment kiosks in each of our buildings. If you need to visit a registration kiosk for enrollment you may contact the schools directly or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call us and we will be happy to assist you at 517-423-2167.

Kindergarten Enrollment Info
Attention Incoming Kindergarten families! It’s time to enroll and schedule a Kindergarten screening appointment for the 2025-26 school year.
To determine if you need to submit a School of Choice application, please view the School Boundaries Map.
If your child was born on or before December 1st, 2020, the parent or legal guardian of the child may enroll the child in Young 5s or Kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year if the parent or legal guardian notifies the school district in writing that he or she intends to enroll the child in Young 5s or Kindergarten.
