MENTAL HEALTH
Mental health awareness is an important issue for all educators, who are often the first line of defense for their students. Education professionals have recognized the impact that a student's mental health has on learning and achievement, and they realize there's a great deal that can be done to help students with mental health issues.
ProMedica offers insight into mental health issues. A resource guide from the hospital is intended to help members of the community to better understand mental illness, the resources available for individuals and their families, and advocate for support and acceptance from the community.
Mental Health Resource Guide can be found here
