Curriculum in Tecumseh Public Schools is created locally by TPS teachers in alignment with Common Core State Standards and the Michigan Department of Education Standards. The curriculum is delivered by our teachers who follow best instructional practices as described within the district pacing guides. The curriculum and instruction is designed to help all our students learn and grow as measured by the MEAP, MME, ACT, Explore, Plan and Measures of Student Learning as well as teacher-made assessments. The pacing guides that have been developed by TPS provide a description by grade level and subject area of what students will learn each year and are aligned to the State of Michigan standards and the Common Core State Standards where appropriate.

This page and resources is provided to assist parents to understand what is expected of students in each grade level and to provide resources for parents to assist their child.
