The responsibility rests for making decisions with the seven elected Board members. The School Board is, however, very interested in hearing from the public.  Members of the public may wish to bring certain matters to the Board’s attention. This may be done in one of the following two ways:

If the matter is of a lengthy nature, you may wish to be placed on the agenda of the Board. It is necessary that a written request be given to the Superintendent of Schools at least 72 hours prior to the meeting.
     
Another means of communicating with the Board is through the “Public Comment” portion of the the Board agenda, which is set aside at every Board meeting for persons in the audience who wish to be heard.
